Flophouse America made me feel like the camera almost didn’t exist the family seemed to genuinely trust the filmmaker. I was left with really mixed emotions after watching it. I especially loved the scene of Michael in the car; it felt like a moment of calm in the middle of chao
Aftersun the father–daughter trip was quite enjoyable. Honestly, I didn’t love the film overall, but the cinematography was really beautiful. I especially liked the color palette, and the way the sea is depicted throughout.
My favorite line was: “I like that we share the same sky—so even if we’re not in the same place, it still means we’re together.”
Frances Ha I really loved the running scenes. The film captures confusion, heartbreak, and the feeling of trying so hard without getting the outcome you want with such precision. Watching it felt like looking into a mirror.
I feel like it portrayed a huge part of my own life. It was deeply moving, and I loved it.
Confessions of a Mole I really love this kind of personal cinema, or films that document one’s own family. It felt incredibly sincere. At one point, I found myself crying, and the tears just wouldn’t stop.
So many of the moments felt raw and real family, relationships, traditional values, all of it. It’s the kind of film that Asian kids would deeply resonate with.
Inside Llewyn Davis It’s been a while since I watched this film, but I remember really liking its pacing. The soundtrack was beautiful too.I listened to the OST afterward, and it brought me back to what my life felt like during that time. I’m not sure if I’d rewatch it, though.

That night, I had sex with a guy who wasn't my partner. Walking toward his scooter, I was terribly nervous. Over and over, I wondered: Should I turn back? What if I end up dead? I felt I had been way too impulsive—we had only been messaging for an hour before agreeing to meet up.
I couldn't finish my noodles because the portion was huge, so he just ate all the leftovers for me. Afterward, we picked up large iced Americanos together. Today, he actually asked if I wanted to come over again. I hesitated for a bit, but in the end, I decided not to go.
Holy fuck, he is fucking huge. I want to have sex with him again so bad.
